We are now looking for a Process Operator for an assignment via Lernia in Uppsala. The assignment is full-time and starts as soon as possible, with the possibility of extension. You will work in a production environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are the focus.

About the role

As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and optimization of production processes in the facility. You will be an important part of the production team and collaborate closely with technicians, shift leaders, and quality managers to ensure that production follows established routines and production goals.

The work is shift-based and takes place in the facility in Uppsala. The role involves both practical tasks and documentation in systems as well as participation in improvement work.

Responsibilities
  • Perform operation and monitoring of process equipment according to instructions and work routines.

  • Conduct startups, changeovers, and shutdowns, as well as perform ongoing checks and sampling.

  • Follow and document production parameters and deviations in the internal systems.

  • Contribute to improvement and optimization activities to increase productivity and reduce waste.

  • Follow safety routines and report and address deviations together with the work team.

  • Collaborate with maintenance for fault reporting and assist with simpler technical measures when needed.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in process-controlled production or a similar industrial environment. You are comfortable with practical work and have a meticulous and responsible attitude.

  • Experience working in industry or process production, preferably from food, chemicals, or manufacturing industry.

  • Basic technical understanding and familiarity with working with production equipment.

  • Good system skills and experience documenting in digital systems.

  • Can read and understand instructions and follow routines carefully.

  • Flexible regarding working hours as shift work occurs.

  • Good knowledge of Swedish; English may occur in technical documentation.

Personal qualities

You are problem-solving, cooperative, and have a safety-conscious approach. You thrive in an operational everyday life and are happy to contribute to a positive team climate. Being able to prioritize and handle time pressure is important for success in the role.
